I am the 2022 Narrative Prize winner, the 2021 winner of Narrative Magazine’s 30 Under Contest, a 2024 shortlist finalist for the Commonwealth Short Story Award and a 2021 Finalist for the Cecilia Joyce Johnson Award for Short Fiction from the Key West Literary Seminar. I am currently a writer-in-residence at Hedgebrook. I have previously held fellowships at Craigardan and American Short Fiction. I serve as a fiction editor at The Maple Tree Literary Supplement. I am working on my debut short story collection about race, power, and the intimate lives of men and women.
